What is your minimum order value?
£77 gross - i.e. at our retail value, you will then receive a discount (see How does your discount structure work?)
How does your discount structure work?
When you have made your order and pressed 'recalculate' you will see the 'gross' price for the books you have ordered (i.e. the price before discount). You will receive a wholesale discount on this gross price, giving you a 'net' price - which is the price you pay us.
If the order is £77 or above gross you will get a 35% discount - so a £77 order will be £50 net
If the order is £167 or above gross you will get a 40% discount - so a £167 order will be £100 net
If the order is £360 or above gross you will get a 45% discount - so a £360 order will be £200 net
If the order is £1000 or above gross you will get a 50% discount - so a £1000 order will be £500 net
Why are your books so cheap?
Many of our books are remaindered stock. A remainder is a book that is sold in bulk by a publisher once its sales have slowed down. Most books are remaindered eventually. This means we can obtain excellent titles in the MBS field and sell them on at discount prices to you. Publishers sometimes mark remaindered books by stamping an edge with a marker, this does not generally detract from the appearance of the book. Remainders are sometimes referred to as publisher over runs.
How do I make a wholesale order?

Choose how you want to view our current titles, you can find books by subject using the drop down list, or you can list all the books by author or title A-Z. Scroll down the list on the left, click on the title of any books that take your fancy for more information, if you want to order one or more copies click on the 'Add to Your Order' button. To determine the current total of your order (before wholesale discount) click recalculate. Once you have added all the titles you want to your order click 'Go To Payments', fill in the contact fields and then select your method of payment. We require all new and non-account customers to pay for their order at the point of dispatch by debit or credit card. (We will deduct the cost of any non-available items, then the wholesale discount before charging your card, you will find the card receipt and invoice in your parcel). If you do not have a credit or debit card it is possible to pay by cheque or bank transfer but this will delay your order considerably, if you choose this option please click 'Payment on account' and phone us on 01458 831800 to arrange payment.
How much do I sell the books for?
We would like you to sell our books for our recommended price - i.e. what you paid for them before wholesale discount. That way your customers are getting a good deal, your stock will turn over faster, you'll be able to make regular orders so you'll always have new stock to show your customers, and we'll all be happy!
What about VAT?
VAT (Value Added Tax) is only charged on UK orders.
There is no VAT on books. There is VAT however (charged at 17.5%) on tarot cards, CD's, audio tapes and stationery
Boxed sets that contain a book as well as other items are charged at 8.5% VAT. VAT is automatically included in our gross prices.
What about delivery?
If you are a UK customer: Delivery is free. Delivery times vary, we aim to get all orders dispatched within 10 days of your order. Please supply an email address, you will then receive a confirmation email when the order is dispatched advising you that the delivery will be with you within 1 or 3 days. Delivery will be made by courier anytime between 8.30am and 5.30pm, (although they generally don't attempt delivery before 9am). For this reason it is always best to use a business address that is staffed between those times as your delivery address. Please ensure your delivery address is clear and correct and includes the correct postcode - couriers are not as good at finding obscure addresses as the postman! If the delivery cannot be made the parcel(s) will go back to the courier's depot, the courier will leave a card and you will have to arrange re-delivery. If delivery cannot be made within a week the parcels will be returned to us, you will then have to pay to have it re-delivered.

How do I become an account customer?
You can carry on buying stock from us and paying by credit card at the point of dispatch indefinitely. However if you would like to open an account please contact the office on 01458 831800 and we will send you an account opening form, we will require references and other information from you.
